Terms of Service
Welcome to SMEasy, a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform operated by SMEasy ("we", "our", "us"). By accessing or using SMEasy, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of the Terms, you must not use the platform.
1. Scope of Services
SMEasy provides integrated tools to help organizations manage their human resources and business operations. The core modules include:
- Employee Records – Store and manage employee information, files and events
- Payroll – Calculate salaries, CPF, generate payslips, and maintain payroll history
- Leave – Handle leave entitlements and approval workflows
- Attendance – Track employee working hours and attendance patterns
- Claims – Submit and process expense claims through a manager and finance approval flow
2. User Responsibilities
- Ensure the accuracy of all information submitted to the system
- Secure all user accounts and access credentials
- Obtain proper consent from employees before collecting or storing their personal data
- Comply with all relevant employment, data protection, and tax regulations in your jurisdiction
3. No Warranties
SMEasy is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not warrant that the system will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fully compliant with local statutory regulations. It is your responsibility to verify the accuracy of outputs such as payslips, CPF values, tax forms, and claim reimbursements.
4. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SMEasy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of or related to your use of the platform. Our total liability shall not exceed the fees paid by you prior to the claim.
5. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SMEasy, its employees, agents, and affiliates from any claim, liability, loss, or expense arising out of:
- Incorrect or incomplete data provided by your users
- Use of SMEasy in a manner not in compliance with law
- System issues or bugs resulting in miscalculations or business disruption
- Failure to follow proper approval, audit, or compliance processes
6. Suspension & Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access if we detect violations of these Terms, misuse, non-payment, or security breaches. No refunds will be issued in such cases.
7. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Any disputes will be resolved in Singapore courts.
